Cloud Connect for Enterprise
cloud connect for enterprise allows companies to have an off-site backup and delivery solution. This allows you to have all backups from different sites to a single location (a private or public datacenter).

Create Virtual Machine on Azure
From the Azure portal, click on Virtual Machines then on Create virtual machine.
Select the resource group and enter the desired name of your virtual machine. Select the region and click on Browse all public and private image.
Enter Veeam on the field and click on Veeam Cloud Connect for the Enterprise.
The size of the virtual machine is automatically selected. Configure the user name and password.
In the Disks window, create a second disk.
Configure the Network section and click on Next.
Validate the following windows without making any changes and then start creating the virtual machine by clicking on Create.
The VM is then correctly created
Install licence for Cloud Connect
From the Veeam console, access the license menu.
Click on Install Licence on the Windows and select the file licence. Licence has been installed.
Create Self Signed certificate
From the Veeam console, access to the Cloud Connect menu and click on Manage Certificates.
Select Generate new certificate for generate new certificate.
Enter the name of the certificate and click on Next.
Click on Finish. The certificate has been generated.
Add Veeam Cloud Gateway
From the Veeam Console, select Cloud Connect menu and right click on Cloud Connect. On the menu select Add Cloud Gateway.
Click on Add new to the right of the Choose Server field.
Enter the Public IP address or DNS name of the server and click on Next.
Select the identifiant for connect to the virtual machine.
Veeam components will be installed, click on Apply.
After that component has been installed, click on Next and on Finish.
A new windows appear, click on Next.
Configure the Lan settings and click on Next.
Validate the following windows to start creating the Cloud Gateway. The configuration is now correctly done
Configure Cloud Gateway Pool
If you have several Cloud Gateway, you need create a Cloud Gateway Pool. From the Veeam Console, select Cloud Connect menu and click on Gateway Pools. On the ribbon click on Add Gateway Pool.
Enter the name of the pool and click on Next.
Check the different Cloud gateway that you want add on the pool and click on Next. Click on Finish on the Summary Windows.
Add Cloud Repository
The cloud repository permit to store the different backup file. On the Veeam console (on the Cloud Connect Server), click on Backup Repositories. In the ribbon, click on Add Repository.
Select the desired repository on the Windows.
Select the operating system of the server who repository is present.
Enter the name of the repositories and select the repositories server.
Enter the path for the folders and click on Populate. Configure the different properties.
Enter the path for the NfsDataStore and click on Next. You can proceed to the creation of the Datastore.
Add a tenant
From the Veeam console, open Cloud Connect tab and click on Tenants. On the ribbon, click on Add Tenants button.
Enter the username and password of the user and check Backup Storage option.
Configure the field Max concurrent Task and select the desired Gateway Pool
Enter the name of the repository and select the desired Backup repository.
Click on Finsih to create a tenant.
Configure Service Provider
On the remote, open the Veeam console. Open the Option menu.
Click on Manage Cloud Credentials
Click on Add to enter credential and select Veeam Cloud Connect service provider account.
Enter username and password configured when you have created tenant.
From the Veeam console, click on Backup Infrastructure menu and on Service Providers. On the central panel click on Add Service Provider.
Enter the Public IP address or DNS name of the Veeam Cloud Connect.
Click on Continue on the Windows that appear.
Select the credentual and click on the certificate. Copy the thumbprint and paste the thumbprint on the field.
The repository and the capacity of this repository configured on the tenant his present on the windows Backup Storage. Click on Apply.
When the configuration is finish, click on Finish.
From the Veeam console, click on Home tab and click on Backup Copy
Click on Add and select the source.
I have selected From Infrastructure option and i have selected the VM that I want. Select the repository and configure the restore point. Click on Advanced button.
Check Enable backup file encryption option and select the desired password. You can add new password withe Add button. Click OK to validate the choice.
Configure Data Transfer windows and click on Next.
Configure Schedule as you want.
